We provide professional Timber Frame Scaffolding services to a variety of different clients ranging from domestic/self build to Housing Development contractors.
When constructing timber framed buildings, initially there is no building or structure in place to tie against prior to the installation of the scaffolding. The scaffold may be rectangular in shape, and surrounding a structure, but it is still vital that measures to ensure stability and safety are incorporated.
Internal guardrail is fitted on all elevations unless the main contractor provides an alternate internal fall arrest such as bean bags, or safety netting.
Once the timber frame is secured on all elevations the scaffolding is generally adapted. This consists of an inside board being removed and the transoms being pulled back creating a suitable gap allowing the building to be clad and insulated by other site trades.
Maximum stability of a freestanding scaffold structure must be achieved by means other than ties or butting tubes to the Timber Frame building. Cross bracing, raking braces or building various buttress’s are all methods of achieving this.
Our Timber Frame Scaffolding services are available in Chelmsford, Harlow, Bishops Stortford, Hatfield, Hertford, Welling, Sawbridgeworth, Epping, Ongar and all surrounding towns and villages.
